Shopping at Whole Foods is always a treat for me. I am always floored by the new, innovative products that are constantly being added to their shelves and online Amazon Prime Whole Foods website. Right now is no exception.
While I will typically place an online Whole Foods grocery order for my groceries (there is nothing better than having your groceries delivered right to your door) vs. visiting a brick and mortar Whole Foods store, new groundbreaking and exciting foods and beverages seem to be added almost every week online and to all of their stores. Here are some of my favorite recent healthy finds that I think you will love as well:
1. 365 Organic Immune Refresher

Cold and flu season is definitely upon us! During this time of year, I often stock up on immune boosting supplements and foods. I was definitely intrigued when I came across the 365 Brand Organic Immune Refresher. While several flavors are available, including a sweeter tasting variety with mango, apple & orange with baobab, I opted for the Immune Refresher with carrot, orange and turmeric during my latest order.
This organic juice refresher contains 100% of your daily requirement of vitamin c without any added sugar. Plus it is a good source of potassium and includes turmeric, which has so many known benefits including anti-inflammatory and blood sugar regulation benefits.
At $3.99 for 32 ounces, you get a lot of immunity power for your buck with this juice. The turmeric flavor is a little bold and might not be for everyone, but you can always add this refresher to your smoothie or opt for mango, apple and orange Immune Refresher, which is definitely a bit sweeter.
2. Koia Keto – Cookies ‘n Creme

I have been drinking Koia protein shakes on and off for years, but have been a recent convert to their keto line. As its name suggests, the Koia Keto protein drinks cater to those on the keto diet or avoiding a lot of sugar and carbs. While I was previously buying Koia’s fudge and vanilla bean keto protein drinks exclusively , I recently decided to try the cookies ‘n creme flavor – and I can confidently say that it is my new favorite!
The Koia Keto drinks taste delicious without any added sugar or suspect ingredients (monk fruit is the natural sweetener). They are packed with protein (12g) and fiber (5g) to keep you fuller longer.
I often have to avoid keto labeled products because they often include milk or whey protein, which I must avoid. Thankfully, this amazing protein drink is 100% dairy free and uses coconut milk as the base. This one is definitely a must try.
3. Organic Valley Certified Organic Pasture Raised Eggs

Many nutritionists and health experts say that organic, pasture raised eggs are the best eggs to buy for so many reasons – but they are so darn expensive! Plus, they can be really hard to find at stores.
While Whole Foods carries Vital Farms organic, pasture raised eggs, they are quite expensive and are often sold out at my stores. Organic Valley Certified Organic Pasture Raised eggs recently popped up in my store, and I couldn’t have been more delighted. These eggs are equal in quality to Vital Farms but were over $2 less expensive. It’s always great to save a few bucks when you can! I am hoping these Organic Valley eggs remain available at my store.
4. Smart Harvest Organic Fruit & Vegetable Smoothie Blend – Mediterranean Medley

I try to make a smoothie every single day. It’s one of the best ways to get extra vegetables, fruits, herbs and nutrients in your diet. However, my smoothie recipes take approximately 15 minutes to make. And some days I just don’t have the time.
I always try to have a few ready-to-make smoothie packages handy for extra busy days. I’ve tried them all, including Blendtopia – which I love. This Smart Harvest Organic Fruit and Vegetable Smoothie Blend showed up on the Whole Foods grocery order site as a suggestion for me based on my past purchases. The Ingredients were a little different so I figured that I would give it a shot.
This smoothie package is a great deal, because you get 2 separate smoothie packets for the same price of other smoothie packages on the market that only offer one serving in each package. The Mediterranean Medley variety includes apricots, figs, raspberries, pomegranate seeds and kale. It blends to a beautiful color and the taste is magnificent.
5. Aerofarms Micro-Broccoli

Speaking of smoothies, I am always looking to add new ingredients to my homemade smoothie recipes (when I have time to make them). My store was fresh out of broccoli sprouts, which is a staple ingredient in some of my homemade smoothie recipes. The Whole Foods grocery order website suggested that I try these Aerofarms Micro-Broccoli, and I am glad that I decided to purchase them.
Although not organic, all Aerofarms microgreen products are sustainably grown indoors, non-GMO verified and pesticide free. Aerofarms claims that their microgreens contain 5x more nutrients than mature leafy greens. Besides micro-broccoli, they also offer other micro-green varieties such as arugula, super mix, spicy mix and baby bok choy. It’s a great way to add extra nutrition to your salads or smoothies.
6. Pitaya Plant Power Passion Fruit Frozen Pieces

Sticking with the smoothie theme, I have also been experimenting with adding tropical and other exotic fruits to my smoothie recipes. Pitaya is a brand that I have purchased before for their delicious and smoothie ready frozen dragon fruit and aloe vera pieces. This is the first time that I tried the passion fruit pieces – and I wasn’t disappointed.
Pitaya frozen fruits, including the passion fruit variety, are not organic, but none of their fruits are on the dirty dozen list – so non-organic is okay. Adding Pitaya passion fruit slices has elevated the flavor profiles of my smoothies. Plus Pitaya Passion Fruit is an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C, and a good source of Vitamin A – all of which are helpful during cold and flu season.
7. Teton Waters Ranch Spicy Breakfast Links

I found these Teton Waters Ranch Spicy Breakfast Links (yes, you heard me right – beef breakfast links) in the sale section of the Whole Foods grocery order website. While pork sausage links are the gold standard for most people’s breakfasts, pork isn’t for everyone. And sometimes I even need a little break from pork sausage.
Teton Waters Ranch Spicy Breakfast Links are made from 100% grass-fed beef, which is the main reason that I decided to give these beef links a try. These beef breakfast links are unique, a little spicy (but not too spicy) and taste great. The links come frozen, are pre-cooked and heat up quickly. I recommend you give these a try!
8. Lemon Perfect Cold-Pressed Lemon Water – Dragon Fruit Mango

Ok, I must admit that I picked this Lemon Perfect Water up because it was on sale. I am not opposed to drinking plain old water – but water with a little bit of flavor and electrolytes can sometimes be appealing.
This Dragon Fruit Mango Lemon Water drink is definitely thirst quenching. It is a bit sweet tasting but contains no added sugar. Instead, this five calorie drink is sweetened with erythritol (a sugar alcohol) and organic stevia leaf. Extra points that this hydrating drink is made from a simple list of organic ingredients and contains 100% of the daily recommended dose of vitamin C.
9. Honey Mama’s Pumpkin Spice Cocoa Truffle Bar – Limited Edition

Since we are only a few days away from Halloween, we are in prime candy eating season. Candy is everywhere! While you will never find junky candy in my virtual or physical shopping carts, I have found some MUCH healthier candy options so that I don’t feel left out this Halloween season.
I have written about my love for Honey Mama’s Truffle Bars before, but they now have a limited edition Pumpkin Spice truffle bar just in time for the Fall Pumpkin season. I highly recommend that you pick one or two up before they leave the shelves (and before they are replaced for a wintery/Christmasy flavor). Fear not if your Whole Foods does not have Honey Mama’s Pumpkin Spice Truffle Bars in stock, Honey Mama’s has other tasty options at Whole Foods to try.
Honey Mama’s makes some of the cleanest chocolate bars around – made from almost all organic ingredients. You will not believe that these scrumptious bars contain no added sugar, and as the brand name suggests, they are only sweetened with honey! These rich truffle bars, which must be refrigerated, are an excellent way to participate in pumpkin spice season without ingesting added sugar or other crappy ingredients.
10. Mid-Day Squares – Almond Crunch

I have been dying to try mid-day squares since I first heard about them from healthy eating influencers on Instagram last year. However, they weren’t available in my area’s Whole Foods stores until recently.
Now, I try to include at least one Mid-Day Square in each Whole Foods grocery order. And lately, my Whole Foods seems to have the Almond Crunch flavor most in stock. Mid-Day Squares markets its small chocolate bars as the first functional chocolate bars. Each bar is made with clean plant protein, real chocolate, healthy fats and fiber. These chocolate bars satisfy any chocolate or hunger craving. It’s so much better than reaching for a Snickers bar or conventional chocolate bar. Like the Honey Mama’s bar, Mid-Day Squares also must be refrigerated.
